Meeting Logistics


Here is the logistical information for the Fall 2023 CSG Workshops and Meeting, to be held 27-29 September, 2023 at Brown University.

You will need to register separately for rooms at the conference hotel as well as for the meeting, and to make your own travel arrangements as explained below.

Conference Hotel:

Our conference hotel is the Graduate Providence, 11 Dorrance St. You may make your reservation by visiting the link or calling the number mentioned in the initial meeting notice. Our group rate is $164, plus tax, per night. Self parking is available at the Biltmore Garage, located just next to the hotel, for $25 per car, per night. (Please note this parking garage is not owned or managed by Graduate Providence, and pricing is subject to change.) The cut-off date for hotel reservations is Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

Meeting Venue:

Our meeting will be held in the Biltmore Ballroom at the Graduate Providence.

Meeting Registration:

Please visit the meeting registration link mentioned in the initial meeting notice to register for the meeting and make your entree selections for the group dinners. Our registration system will send you a confirmation email. You can also confirm your attendance by viewing our meeting attendance list, but please note this list is manually updated. The cut-off date for meeting registration is Monday, September 18, 2023.

Nearest Airports:

Providence is about 10 miles north of T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) in Warwick and about 50 miles south of Logan International Airport (BOS) in Boston.

Conference Meals:

Full breakfast/brunch and break services will be provided for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Group lunches and dinners will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday. Transportation will be provided between the meeting site, campus tour location, and the group dinners as necessary; please see the meeting agenda for details. Box lunches will be provided at the close of the CSG meeting on Friday.
