While space at the Georgetown University Hotel & Conference Center remains sold out for the evening of May 11, there are some rooms available for the other nights.

It is your choice as to whether you stay in one of the below hotels for the entire meeting or switch to the conference hotel after the 11th. You can make or change these arrangements on your own, or give me your preferences and credit card information and I'll make them on your behalf.

15 April

Space at the Georgetown University Hotel & Conference Center is sold out for the evening of May 11; it is not clear whether there are rooms available for the other nights. Please make a reservation at one of the following hotels:

Key Bridge Marriott $299 with 24 hour cancellation. Marriott.com or 1-800-MARRIOTT. Has Georgetown Shuttle Bus Service. Has at least 6 rooms available during this period.
Georgetown Holiday Inn. $179 Georgetown University Rate at 1-877-531-2705. Must ask for the Georgetown University Rate. [Make sure they don't give you the George Washington University rate, which is $229.] 24 Hour Cancellation. Has Georgetown Shuttle Bus Service via adjacent building from hotel to campus. Rooms available.

CSG will not be providing shuttle bus service to or from these hotels. Please use the regular Georgetown shuttle buses for local transportation; information at http://otm.georgetown.edu/guts/index.cfm. The Rosslyn Route bus stops at the Keybridge Marriott and stops south of Hariri on campus. The Wisconsin Ave Route bus stops at the Holiday Inn and stops just north of the Leavey Center on campus. Please see the map on the shuttle bus web site, which also includes live tracking.

Here is the first round of information for the Spring 2010 CSG Workshops and Meeting to be held May 12, 13, & 14th at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Conference Hotel:

Hotel space is being held at Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center GUHCC

at 1 Leavey Center. [Space is sold out on the 11th -- please see top of page.] Our discount rate is $199.00 per night. You may make your reservations online at our personalized website, or you may call the hotel directly at 1-888-324-2111 or 202-687-3200 and ask for the Common Solutions Group room block. Please note that the hotel reservation cutoff date is April 11th. Some rooms have also been reserved for May 8-11th and May 14-16th.

Directions to the hotel may be found here. Parking at the hotel may be charged to the room or paid in cash.

Meeting Space:

The workshops and the meeting will be held in Room 450 Hariri Building 450 HB at the McDonough School of Business MSB. Golf carts for transport to and from the business school will be available upon request.

Nearest Airport:

Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to the hotel and conference center - approximately a 10 minute cab ride. The conference location is also accessible from Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) which offers direct flights and Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI) which is the least expensive.

Conference Meals:

Continental breakfast and break services will be provided for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Fisher Colloquium. Wednesday and Thursday lunches will be held in the Georgetown Faculty Club, located in the Leavey Center. On Friday, box lunches will be available in the Fisher Colloquium at the close of the CSG meeting. Our Wednesday Dinner will be held on the Hariri Patio, with the Fisher Colloquium reserved in case of rain. The Thursday Dinner will be held at Riggs Library.
