Hello Everyone,

Here is the second round of information for the Fall 2008 CSG  
Workshops and Meeting to be held September 24,25,26, 2008 at Cornell  
University.

Conference Hotel:

Hotel space is being held at the Statler Hotel, 130 Statler Drive,  
Ithaca NY 14853-6901 at a rate of $165 single/$175 double per night  
plus taxes.  Reservations are taken at 1-800-541-2501 until August  
11, 2008.  After this date rooms will be on a first come first serve  
basis.  Parking at the hotel is provided at $8.00 + tax per night.


Meeting Space:

The workshops and the meeting will be held in the amphitheater at the  
J. Willard Marriott Executive Education Center that is part of the  
hotel complex.


Driving directions:
***Due to University construction, the Hoy Road entrance to Campus at  
the Dryden Road intersection will be closed to traffic from May 27,  
2008 until further notice.

If you are coming from RT 366, we recommend you turn right prior to  
Dryden Road on Judd Falls Road, continue to the stop sign and turn  
left onto campus Road.  At the second stop sign, bear right and  
continue on Campus Road until you reach the Statler Hotel sign at the  
intersection of Campus Road and Statler Drive.  Turn right onto  
Statler Drive and continue to the hotel's front circle at the end of  
the drive.

If you are coming from Pine Tree Road ( via Route 79) , turn right at  
the blinking red light at the end of Pine Tree Road onto Rt. 366, and  
take your first left onto Judd Falls Road and follow the directions  
above to the Statler Hotel.


Nearest Airports:
Ithaca/Tompkins County Regional Airport is the nearest airport,  
servicing United, USAirways and Northwest.   Other airports include  
Syracuse Hancock International (1 hour from Cornell) and Greater  
Rochester International (2 hours from Cornell).  See the CSG website  
for more travel information.

The Statler provides complimentary transportation for overnight  
guests to and from the Ithaca/Tompkins County Regional Airport and  
the Ithaca Bus Terminal. Just let the hotel know your arrival and  
departure schedule when you book your room, and they will be happy to  
give you a lift.

Additional information for flying into Syracuse:

Syracuse Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, NY, is approximately
60 miles north of Cornell University with an estimated driving time
of 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Door-to-door taxi and van service from Syracuse:

Century (314-455-5151, kiosks located around the airport)-
All prices are per vehicle one-way:
  Taxi - holds up to 4 people - $168.50
  Mini-van - holds up to 6 people depending on luggage- $249.20
  Large Van - holds up to 10 people- $364.20

Ithaca Airlines Limo service (607-273-3030 or 800-273-9197)-
They require 48 hour advance notice and payment.  The price is $80
per person one-way or $110 for a round trip.  They are not associated
with Century and will pick up and drop off at Syracuse airport.

Conference Meals:
Continental breakfast and break services will be provided for  
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.   Group lunches and dinners will be  
provided on Tuesday and Wednesday. Box lunches will be provided at  
the close of the CSG meeting on Friday.
