Hello Everyone,

Here is the first round of information for the Spring 2008 CSG
Workshops and Meeting to be held May 14, 15, 16, 2008 at the
University of Michigan.

Conference Hotel:
Hotel space is being held at The Dahlmann Campus Inn, 615 E Huron
St.  Please ask for the Common Solutions Group room block to receive
the special price of $147 + tax per night for a single, $170 for a
double.  Reservations may be made by calling 1-800-666-8693.  Our
cut off date is April 13, so please make your reservation by that
date.

Conference Meals:

Meeting Space:
The workshops and the meeting will be held at Palmer Commons, 100
Washtenaw Ave.  We will have shuttle buses running both in the
morning and at the end of the meeting.  The distance is 1/2 a mile
for those of you who like to walk.

Walking directions:
Come out of the hotel, turn left, walk along E Huron St for about
a half mile, crossing State St, N Thayer St, N Ingalls St and Glen
Ave, ending at Zina Pitcher Place.  Turn left and use the
pedestrian bridge to cross Washtenaw Ave and enter the Palmer Commons
Building.  Note Huron St becomes Washtenaw Ave at Zina Pitcher.  Take 
the elevator to the fourth floor.  Turn right coming out of the elevator
and follow the hall to the Great Lakes Room.

Driving directions:
Exit the Campus Inn parking lot at the gate, turn right onto State
Street and an immediate left onto E Huron.  Follow Huron around the
bend at Zina Pitcher place and under the pedestrian walkway, where
Huron St becomes Washtenaw Ave and turn right off Washtenaw onto
Palmer Drive.  At the end of the drive, turn left into the guest
parking structure.  Parking costs are $1.10 per hour.  Walk back
along Palmer Dr to the Palmer Commons building (marked with a Public
Safety sign in the window), enter the building, turn left and take
the elevator to the fourth floor; turn left coming out of the
elevator and left again to the Great Lakes Room.

Nearest Airports:
The nearest full service airport is Detroit Metropolitan Airport (KDTW).

Ann Arbor Municipal Airport, a towered class D airport with a 3,500-foot
runway is located at State St and Ellsworth Rd in Ann Arbor (KARB).

Continental breakfast and break services will be provided for
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Group lunches and dinners will
be provided on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Box lunches will be provided
at the close of the CSG meeting on Friday.
