Addendum A: CSG Vendor Discussion: Oracle
Detailed Agenda
11am-12pm: People arrive
12pm: Lunch and start of Oracle presentation (presentation should be
60-90 mins)
3pm: Break
6pm: End Meeting
6:30pm: Cocktails served at Washington Duke Inn. The Duke is located
across the street from the Thomas Center where most people are
staying. It's about a 5 minute walk. There is parking if you
want to drive over as well.
7pm: Dinner for those who have responded with their order. If you
have not responded then, well, um, ahem.
Dinner is provided by Oracle and there will likely be Oracle sales
people attending the dinner as well.
Topics to be discussed are:
(1) Introduction to OCS 10g - Focus on Content Services, Records
Management, Workspaces, integration (incl. Portal, Web services,
BPEL -- integration could be separate section altogether)
(2) OCS 10g management (installation, upgrades, high availability,
identity management)
(3) Calendar roadmap - Oracle DB, CalDAV, co-existence w/ exchange,
Mozilla, event calendars, Late Binding of Groups to Calendar Objects,
External Management of Groups, Feed formats for calendar events
including RSS, iCal, etc
(4) Standardization effort and product plans for mobile email,
presence and voice
(5) Next Generation OCS - Vision, key requirements, architecture, fit
within Fusion, client and platform strategy
