Good Afternoon All,

Here is the final round of information for the Winter 2005 CSG Workshop
and Meeting to be held January 5,6,7,2004 at Stanford University.

Conference Hotel:
The hotel space is being held at the Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel.  You 
may make your reservation by calling 1-800-874-3516 (the Sheraton 
reservations line) or calling the hotel directly at 1-650-328-2800. 
We have a room block of 60 rooms per night for Tuesday, Wednesday and 
Thursday.  The rooms are at a discount rate of $159.00 + tax for a 
single per night.  Please be sure to ask for the Common Solutions 
Group room block to receive the discounted rate.  Parking is $9.00 
per night in a secure lot next to the hotel or $14.00 per night for 
valet parking.

Meeting Space:
We will be meeting on campus at the Arrillaga Alumni Center, in the 
McCaw Hall.  Please see our web page for maps and directions.  We will 
be providing bus transportation to and from the workshops and meeting.
I will have about ten scratch-off parking passes per day for folks
who would like to park on campus.  Messages may be left at 734 657 8222.

Nearest Airport:
Stanford is roughly equidistant from San Jose and San Francisco 
airports. Sam Trans' Route KX might be the cheapest way to get to and 
from San Francisco International Airport. That bus stops in front of 
the Stanford Shopping Center on El Camino Real. The Stanford shuttle, 
called Marguerite, connects there. Caltrain and BART (Bay Area Rapid 
Transit) connect at the Millbrae station and for an additional fee, 
there are BART trains that run directly to the airport.

A number of private companies also provide shuttle transportation 
from the San Francisco and San Jose airports, and taxis serve the 
Stanford campus from both locations.

Conference Meals:
Continental breakfast and break services will be provided for 
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.   Group lunches and dinners will be 
provided on Wednesday and Thursday.  Box lunches will be provided at 
the close of the CSG meeting on Friday.
