Subject: CSG Meeting Cancelled

Because of the terrible events in New York and Washington DC this
morning this week's CSG event is cancelled.  While it might have been
possible to have continued with at least part of the meeting under
other circumstances, the use of four commercial airliners as
implements of destruction makes it very hard to ask friends and
colleagues to travel, or ask their families to endure the worry that
would cause.

The Secretariat will start to cancel the buses, meals, etc this
afternoon, working with the Seattle folks.  While taking the people
already in Seattle into account, at this point the expectation is that
all reserved CSG venues and activities, with the exception of the
reservations at the Silver Cloud hotel, will be cancelled.
