Good Morning All,

Here is the final round of information for the January 2004 CSG Workshop
and Meeting to be held January 7, 8, 9, 2004 at University of 
California, Berkeley

Conference Hotel:
The conference hotel is the Hotel Durant, http://www.hoteldurant.com/. 
You may call 1-510-845-8981 to make your reservation, be sure to 
mention the Common Solutions Group so that you will get our price of 
$120.00 + tax. We are holding 70 rooms in the block for Tuesday 
through Thursday as usual, the cut off date is December 7, 2003, 
after that rooms will be first come/ first serve at the normal hotel 
price.

Nearest Airports:
Oakland and San Francisco

Airport Transportation:
Shuttle buses from Oakland and San Francisco International Airports 
stop at the Hotel Durant's front door.  Rental cars are available at 
both.

Driving directions to hotel from the airports:
From Oakland Airport:
Follow Hegenberger Road to highway 880 North.  As you approach 
downtown Oakland, follow the signs to highway 80 East, towards 
Sacramento.  Exit on University Avenue.  Take University to Oxford 
Avenue and take a right on Oxford, then a left on Durant Ave.  Drive 
up Durant 5 blocks.  We are located on the right hand side, on the 
corner of Bowditch and Durant.

From San Francisco International Airport:
Take hightway 101 North towards San Francisco.  Once you are in San 
Francisco, follow the signs to the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Bridge 
(80 East).  Cross the Bridge and continue on 80 East towards 
Sacramento.  Exit on University Avenue. Take University to Oxford 
Avenue and take a right on Oxford, then a left on Durant Ave.  Drive 
up Durant 5 blocks.  We are located on the right hand side, on the 
corner of Bowditch and Durant.

Parking at Hotel:
Self parking at the hotel is available for $10.00 per night.

Conference Venue:
The Workshop and Meeting will be held on campus at 110 South Hall.

Conference Parking:
On-campus parking at Berkeley is not recommended.  Many parts of campus
are not accessible by car.  The closest parking structure is about as
far away from the meeting room as is the hotel.

Conference Meals:
Continental breakfast and break services will be provided for 
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Group lunches and dinners will be 
provided on Wednesday and Thursday.  Box lunches will be provided at 
the close of the CSG meeting on Friday.
